what decorations can i put on a piggy bank for my cousins unborn child, if we don't know what it will be?

My cousin is going to have a baby, and i wanted to give it a special present, so i bought a piggy bank that i can decorate, but she will not know what the baby will be until it will be born, but i have to give her the present in the summer because i have to go to schooland will not be seeing her, because she lives far away. What can i decorate the piggy bank with, so that it will be a nice present for either a boy or girl. I wil lbe painting it, so it has to be simple.

Bold bright colours as babies love them. Bright red, blue, pink etc., flowers or stars. Paint the money box a base colour of pale blue with clouds and a rainbow threw them. Dark blue base colour with gold and silver stars and moon shapes. Bright yellow base colour with bright different colour shapes.
Draw the pattern on tracing paper first and then place it on the money box to see how it will fit, look.
