What is the easiest way to clip a guinea pig's nails?

We have a restless Guinea piggy. Clipping nails has always been nerveracking beacuse we are afraid we are ally going to cut the quick.

Grab a towel, a carrot, ask a friend to help, and you're set!

1.Wrap your pig in the towel, but leave his feet sticking out, with his head covered lightly.

2.Put the carrot by him and let him snack.

3.Get your friend to hold your guinea pig in a position that you can easily cut his nails.

4. Don't cut too far- the quick is pretty hard to avoid.

5.If you cut your pig's quick, push his nail down on an ice cube or a bar of soap to stop the bleeding and pain.
