Rape in Lord of the Flies?
We're reading the book in class, and just today we had a discussion about a more violent, sexual version of the book. A few classmates insisted that there is another version of the book in which:
1) Simon and Piggy are raped before they are killed. Piggy was apparently raped by Roger.
2) The savages eat Piggy after raping him.
3) Jack raped the littluns and Samneric to get them to join his tribe.
Does this version exist?
I'm pretty sure that is a load of rubbish, but the author of the book, tried and failed to rape some girl!!!
So perhaps there is more to this than first perceived.
