What am I supposed to do with this.......?

It's one of those piggy bank gift sets for a baby boy. I am giving it as a gift at a baby shower. It comes in a pretty decorated box but has plastic wrapped around it and the lid is not on the box. Do I wrap it the way it is or take it out and put the lid on the box and tie a ribbon around it?

I'd take it out and put a ribbon on it. Put some change in there to get baby started.
